Founded in 1929, the Limited Editions Club published illustrated fine-press books on a subscription basis. This collection contains newsletters, prospectuses, catalogs, and a variety of other publicity and promotional material that the Limited Editions Club sent to its members. Most of the material relates to the period of time in which the Limited Editions Club was led by its founder, George Macy. Much of this material was originally sent to Limited Editions Club member Harold H. Swift, a major donor to the University of Chicago.

Founded in 1929 by George Macy, the Limited Editions Club published illustrated fine-press books for subscribers, in editions of 1500.
